DATA PROTECTION AND STUDENT PRIVACY
Data Protection at Tuckahoe Union-Free School District
The Tuckahoe Union Free School District is committed to data security. These efforts are to ensure compliance with New York State's Common Core Reform Act, Education Law 2-d and Part 121 Regulations. Our district takes the protection of personally identifiable information very seriously, and this page is intended to assure families of the practices and procedures we have in place. Our District has partnered with RIC One, a program that consists of 12 Regional Information Centers (RICs) to ensure agreements with vendors are compliant with the protections outlined in Education Law 2-D. In addition to the resources here, all staff receive training regarding the requirements of the laws and the ways they can safeguard data.
